What we're asking for

Toronto has proposed two projects that would transform Marlee Avenue and Eglinton into safe, walkable, bikeable streets for our growing neighbourhood.
Both are stalled.

Project 1

Beltline Gap Connection

A protected, bidirectional bike lane along Marlee Avenue from Eglinton to Roselawn, making it safe to bike our neighbourhood and along to the Beltline.

⏸ Paused by Councillor Colle
Project 2

EglintonTOday

Approved bike lanes and pedestrian improvements along Eglinton that would link Marlee and communities across the city.

⏸ Delayed until Crosstown opens

Write to our Councillor

Send a quick note to Councillor Colle and Mayor Chow asking them to move these projects forward.

Dear Councillor Colle and Mayor Chow, I am a resident of Marlee Village writing to express my strong support for protected bike lanes and pedestrian improvements on Marlee Avenue and Eglinton. I urge you to move forward with both the Beltline Gap Connection and the EglintonTOday improvements without further delay. As our neighbourhood grows denser around Glencairn Station, safe and accessible streets are essential — for children biking to school, seniors walking to services, and everyone getting around day to day. Our community deserves streets that work for everyone. Please prioritize these projects. Thank you, [Your name] [Your address, optional]
